Quality Statement
A QMS has been identified as a key priority to assist in the achievement of IDS’ business objectives. As a consequence, IDS is implementing the following key initiatives:
- Fostering a “quality culture” within IDS focusing on systematic approach, continuous improvement and client focus
- Increased opportunities for key stakeholders to provide feedback
- Growing its network of business relationships
In order to reach these goals, IDS has set the following corporate quality objectives:
- To implement a quality system which forms a practical basis for IDS to achieve its quality objectives and meets the requirements of ISO:9001:2008
- To achieve certification to that standard
- To periodically review compliance and progress against quality objectives and make improvements when practicable
- To provide basic quality management training to all IDS personnel within one year and ensure that new staff are inducted into the QMS
- To engage a quality auditor when required (eg. To carry out regular internal audits prior to formal third party audits) OR Train at least one employee to carry out internal audits
IDS recognises that Quality is the responsibility of each employee. In order for IDS to achieve its organisational Quality objectives it will ensure that all staff are made aware of IDS’ commitment to Quality as part of their induction.
